My goal is to help you feel informed, empowered, and truly seen—however your experience unfolds. I believe in the power of choice, the strength within you, and the importance of nurturing every birthing person with respect and care.
Whether you're preparing for your first baby or expanding your family, I’m here to provide steady, personalized support. Let’s work together to create a birth experience that reflects your values and feels grounded, safe, and supported.
This journey starts with care—and grows with connection.

What Does a Birth Doula Do?
A birth and prenatal doula provides continuous, non-medical support throughout pregnancy and labor. Their role includes offering evidence-based information, emotional reassurance, and physical comfort measures to help the birthing person feel prepared and supported. Prenatally, doulas assist with birth planning, coping strategies, and communication with care providers. During labor, they offer a calm, steady presence, using techniques such as breath work, positioning, massage, and advocacy to support the birthing individual and their partner. Doulas do not perform clinical tasks but work alongside the medical team to enhance the overall birth experience, fostering a sense of confidence, safety, and informed decision-making.
Is Mariposa Doula right for me?
Receive care that honors your language, family traditions, and cultural values. I understand how culture shapes pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and I create space where your roots are respected and uplifted.

I help you navigate options, ask questions, and advocate for your needs with confidence—ensuring your voice stays central in all decision-making.
Every body and every family belongs. My care is trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and centered in respect for all identities and experiences.
I support not just the birthing person, but the whole family—helping partners feel confident and connected, and making space for meaningful involvement.
From birth planning to hands-on comfort techniques, I tailor support to your unique needs—blending information, intuition, and care so you feel truly prepared.
This package is designed to guide and support you from pregnancy through early postpartum with a blend of in-person and virtual offerings. Together, we’ll cultivate confidence, connection, and calm every step of the way.

Additional Offerings Available:
Birth Prep
This stand-alone birth preparation session is ideal for individuals or couples seeking extra support as they approach labor. In this 1–2 hour session, we’ll cover the stages of labor, explore comfort techniques, review partner roles, and discuss coping strategies for both unmedicated and medicated births. We’ll also talk through common interventions and how to advocate for your preferences with flexibility and confidence. Whether you're preparing for your first birth or looking to build on a past experience, this session is tailored to your needs and questions—helping you feel informed, empowered, and ready for the journey ahead.
Creating a Birth Plan
In addition to full doula support, I offer stand-alone sessions focused on creating a birth plan and preparing for labor. This is a personalized, 1–2 hour consultation where we explore your birth preferences, discuss options for various scenarios, and review comfort measures, partner support, and decision-making tools. Whether you're working with a midwife, OB, or planning a hospital, birth center, or home birth, this session is designed to help you feel informed and grounded. You’ll leave with a clear, flexible birth plan and a deeper sense of readiness—regardless of whether you have a doula present during your labor.
